GIRLS, BEWARE! If you have used this without any problems, I hope that continues to be the case. If you have not used it, I would not recommend it at all! I bought some of this a couple of weeks ago but never used it until yesterday. My side swept bangs were not sweeping the way I wanted them to so I sprayed some of this one, grabbed my brush, turned on my hair dryer and started styling away. Not 10 seconds later I smelled the smell of burning hair and saw smoke coming from my hair. I was like WTF?! So I turned my hair dryer off immediately and my bangs felt as stiff as straw and smelled burnt…. awful. Surprisingly that part of my hair has not started breaking off yet but it does feel pretty dry/straw-like though it is better. I am going to be sleeping with conditioner on it for a while.
I have no idea what could have caused it to do this. My hairdryer is working properly - no problems at all. I convinced my sister to try it on a small section of her hair with her hairdryer just to make sure and her hair started to smoke too but since we were kind of expecting it hers wasn’t quite as bad as mine. SOOOO if you ever use this product - I would suggest putting your hair dryer heat on COOL.
